Big life update: Moving to Spain
I have some big personal news to share—we're moving back to Spain!
After 10 wonderful years in the U.S., we’re packing up and returning to our home country. It’s a bittersweet transition. I’ve truly loved living in New York and D.C.—these cities have shaped my art (and my life!) in so many meaningful ways. They’ve been a constant source of inspiration, and I’ve loved painting houses, skylines, and other urban scenes. I took classes at Pratt Institute and the School of Visual Arts, and being part of the Urban Sketchers communities in both cities has been a real highlight.
I’ll also deeply miss working in the museum world here. Being part of The Met, Pratt Institute and the National Gallery of Art has been a dream come true. But I’m not leaving the arts world anytime soon—I’m thrilled to be starting a new role at the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum in Madrid.
Packing my studio in our family room
To everyone I’ve met through craft markets in the DMV area, on Instagram, or through my Etsy shop—thank you for following and supporting my work. It’s meant a lot to connect with so many of you through art.
There are some good news, my shop is not closing! I’ve found a fantastic U.S.-based print shop to continue producing and shipping my giclée art prints. I’ve tested their work, and the archival quality matches the prints I was making in my studio—so you’ll still be able to place orders as usual, no matter where I am.
